BC Air provides regular degreasing and maintenance of Kitchen Exhaust Systems to mitigate fire risks and help to ensure that ventilation systems operate at their optimal levels. This keeps the premises in line with their fire insurance policies (the General Insurance Association requires regular cleaning and maintenance (degreasing) of Kitchen Exhaust Systems for fire insurance to be valid). According to SCDF Fire Safety Circular, kitchen exhaust system degreasing non-compliance will result in enforcement actions being taken.
